Creating a collaborative culture, Northern Ireland Hospice aims to bring colleagues together through a number of exciting social activities and groups, such as the Hospice Ukulele Band.
Founded in 1983, the organisation has come a long way since its first nurse began providing care to patients in their own homes. Having opened Northern Ireland’s first ever children’s hospice in 2001, the Hospice now cares for over 4,000 babies, children and adults each year.
The charity provides holistic and specialist palliative care to improve lives and provide comfort to patients with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, giving them the best quality of life from diagnosis to the end of their lives. This support is also extended to anyone effected by a palliative diagnosis including patients, families and health and social care professionals.
The Corporate Leadership Team truly live the hospices values each and every day through its culture of respect and acceptance without distinction and judgement, where everyone can belong and are encouraged to share their views and opinions whilst engaging openly.
As part of its benefits package, employees can look forward to a generous 27 days holiday, pension scheme and subsidised meals, as well as free on-site parking and flexible working schemes.
