The college gives employees 35 hours of training a year, at a cost of about £600 each. Subjects range from office skills and time management to challenging behaviour and diversity. Employees are able to meet with the Principal at regular ‘meet the Principal' focus groups where people are given the opportunity to ask him direct questions on a range of topics. The Principal also welcomes feedback through e-mail or the college intranet system and ensures that all employees are kept well informed of any developments or changes through consultation meetings.
