Kenneth Green Associates (KGA) is a British distributor of fragrance, skincare and make-up products based in Weybridge, Surrey. The company also provides sales and marketing, digital, e-commerce and PR services to clients.
The ethos of KGA stems from its eponymous chairman, Kenneth Green, who was recognised in 2009 for his service to the fragrance industry by being inducted into the Circle of Champions of The Fragrance Foundation UK. With entrepreneurship and creative thinking at the heart of the business, Kenneth states that the people are the priceless ingredient to the success of KGA.
KGA is 30 years old and one thing that makes everyone proud is the commitment of its people. It has been said that the company is like a British oak – count the rings to understand the maturity and strength. Fifty per cent of employees have been with the business for 10 years or more, and six have given 25 years, including two serving directors. In a modern commercial world of churn, KGA believes this illustrates the loyalty and professionalism of dedicated people building a strong future for themselves and the organisation.
From the beginning of the pandemic, Kenneth issued a weekly letter providing reassurance, reflection and guidance. It was entitled News From the Boss and became a company highlight.
Carefully curated newsletters were also emailed to everyone twice a week, touching on issues such as isolation and anxiety. There were home-schooling tips and uplifting suggestions for keeping mental health under control. It was a considered approach to unite people and had a great response.

The last survey that was run was a feedback questionnaire on the KGA Community, where employees were able to share their thoughts on current communication strategies and on what they would like to see. This resulted in newsletters providing more uplifting content.

All employees receive a bonus based on personal and company achievements. In addition to this, all sales employees have an incentive scheme and earn commission payments based on their sales. To keep KGA people safe everyone completed a home-working risk assessment and there were appropriate Covid-19 evaluations for the office.
My organisation encourages charitable activities
The Kenneth and Susan Green Charitable Foundation was formed about 10 years ago and KGA is a long-term partner of Look Good Feel Better, an international charity that provides free workshops and services for individuals struggling with the visual effects of cancer treatment. Kenneth has served on the Board of Trustees for over 25 years.
