Launched in 2011 in Mayfair by four friends, Burger & Lobster is a restaurant group that provides wild Atlantic lobster and prime cut burgers to customers all over the world.
Doing the right thing for its people, customers, partners, and the environment has always been at the heart of the Burger & Lobster ethos. It has supported the earthquake appeal in Turkey and Syria, with £1 of every bill donated to this campaign, and Burger & Lobster matching each donation.
The organisation also supported StreetSmart (a charity in London helping to support the homeless) with £1 from each Venison Burger sold over the Christmas period going to the charity.
It has further partnered with Only a Pavement Away, a charity to support those facing homeless or ex-offenders, veterans, and other vulnerable groups to support them in building a career in hospitality and re-integrating back into society.
From sustainable sourcing of ingredients, to the long-term relationships with its fishing and farming partners, to the way it manage energy use, Burger & Lobster believe that it's only by taking a total approach, thinking about every aspect of the business, that it can make a meaningful difference. Its ‘Let's Do Better Together’ strategy is designed to reflect this and focuses on three pillars: Waste Reduction, Energy Conservation and Waste Management.

During induction with Burger & Lobster, new starters across different restaurants collaborate and work together as part of their onboarding. The organisation has designated training locations which may be different from the employee's working location, which in turn provides an opportunity for employees from different sites to interact and engage with each other.
