Willmott Dixon are a national, family run construction contractor who deliver building projects in numerous fields including the education sector, the health sector and for residential and local authorities.

The company, headquartered in Letchworth Garden City, has a strategy for 2030 that’s created “pride, excitement and ownership” amongst its team of around 2000 staff that work across 100 sites UK-wide.

Despite Willmott Dixon's extensive growth over the past 150 years, it has kept culture and family values at the heart of everything. A testament to this is the number of long serving employees still working for the business; including their current Group CEO.

Values and behaviours hold great importance at Willmott Dixon, and the senior management team are expected to demonstrate these values each day through their actions. The Group Chief Executive holds the team accountable for this at all times, setting the standard as the leader of an organisation with a strong moral compass and family ethos.

The CEO remains close to his people by speaking at every regional staff meeting and is widely admired for his values and humour. He keeps a keen interest in the lives of employees outside of work and is known for offering support when significant challenges are faced by people. This sends a strong message to the business and underpins the family culture that he personally nurtures.
