Vindis Group was founded in 1960, in Sawston. Vindis Group is based within the automotive sector and offers mobility solutions designed to meet the changing needs of society.
Innovative recruitment practices ensure the appointment of competent and driven individuals, who operate collaboratively to achieve the best possible business outcomes. An inhouse training team allows the business to respond dynamically to challenges and changes within the automotive industry, as well as the wider economic landscape; providing learning opportunities that truly enhance capability and prepare employees for future roles.
As a franchise, the Vindis Group offers a multitude of opportunities for growth and development – both provided internally and via the Manufacturer. In terms of Manufacturer provided initiatives, circa. 70% of employees are currently participating in a structured training route, primarily relevant to their current role. They also have access to additional learning modules, which can be booked via an online Learning Management System.
In terms of the Vindis Group, all employees have access to an ‘Internal Training Prospectus’. This details the circa. 30 training/development modules that have been designed specifically for the Vindis Group, via the internal training team.
Management Teams strive to then ensure that employees are provided with opportunities to ‘practice’ new skills and competencies. The Company also provides access to three tiers of leadership development programme - all of which culminate in an annual Graduation Event; as well as onboarding circa. 15-20 apprentices annually.
