Verastar Group’s mission is to be the one-stop essential services provider to small businesses, making customers’ lives easy, and helping their people succeed. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Manchester, Verastar Group’s customer-facing brands include Clear Business, Inspire Payments, kinex, and The Insurance Octopus.

The organisation is proud of its colleague development and growth offering. All new joiners to Verastar receive custom induction tailored to the area that they join. This equates to 12 different pathways to learning everything Verastar and the roles within the business.

Each quarter Verastar assigns essential learning pathways that ensure all colleagues adhere to its standards, regulations and policies, and to support its people to do the right thing and reduce risk for the business and deliver the best outcomes for its customers.

The organisation supports its employees by creating avenues for them to further their careers and develop new skills. Any colleague in the business can join the organisation’s Colleague Development Sessions that provide professional development for specific needs which are available irrespective of the area they work in.

Verastar also has a number of self-led learning options to allow colleagues to learn at point of need, including learning playlists that support colleagues to grow and develop, these are specially curated learning pathways designed to help colleagues find learning relevant to their role/career aspirations.
