turn IT on provide information and communication technology (ICT) support to primary, secondary and special educational needs schools across the UK. Their aim is to maximise the potential of ICT to benefit pupils, teachers and management groups. The company was founded in 2003 by ex-teacher Tom Welch, who saw the limitless potential of technology in schools and was inspired to find a solution to its challenges. Today, more than 500 schools, local authorities and multi-academy trusts use their ICT support, management information systems support and training services. The team, many of whom were teachers themselves, ensures ICT is having the maximum benefit to learning by proactively helping schools develop a tailored plan to meet their specific strategic objectives and ever-changing requirements. All staff are able to advise on hardware and software usage and have 150 years of combined experience. The main office is in Witney, Oxfordshire with other sites in Tottenham, London and Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
