With a collaborative culture, Talent Works encourages employees to come together — no matter where they're working. Community channels were introduced on Microsoft Teams for more social interaction along with a marketing channel which houses materials to share or discuss via social media.
Regular quizzes, team-building activities and virtual coffee chats provided ample opportunity for teams across the business to join together for friendly discussions and more frequent engagement.
Talent Works started life in 2009 with a vision to transform and disrupt the recruitment industry. What began in a small barn with one founder and three willing and ambitious recruiters, soon evolved into an industry disruptor that sought to challenge a stagnating industry.
From having started with funds of less than £5,000, it has grown organically to become a multimillion-pound turnover business. Whether working with a tech company scaling up gradually or an established business expanding internationally, Talent Works has the know-how to attract and hire the right people.
Hard work does not go unrecognised. On Friday's business update call, all employees are given the opportunity to give their colleagues a "shout-out". Staff are also encouraged to use the internal business newsletter to highlight their workmates' efforts and achievements.
