Simba Sleep is a retail ecommerce site selling sleep products to help engineer a better night’s sleep.
It studied the body data of over 10 million sleepers and, with lots of clever engineering and many prototypes, Simba Sleep came up with a gamechanger: the original Simba Hybrid mattress.
Just seven years later and it has established a thriving retail/online sales network and has helped over 1 million people sleep better thanks to its Simba Sleep technology.
Being an organisation that is focused on helping people to sleep better, it is very aware of the importance of ensuring the wellbeing of its customers and its employees.
It holds a company wellbeing week twice a year where it sets up activities, initiatives, and wellbeing talks throughout the week to engage with and remind its teams of the importance of taking care of their wellbeing. It reminds them of the resources available to support both their physical and mental health, and that employees can talk to the Mental Health Allies within Simba Sleep who are always available to support.
Furthermore, to support all employees with the cost of living crisis, Simba Sleep made an additional payment of £175 each month over three months from November to January to every employee. The organisation has also organised a financial wellbeing talk from its pension provider to remind employees of the resources available for help and support.
