Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) is a dynamic, community-centred organisation committed to providing over 12,700 homes across the scenic east coast of Lincolnshire. As a non-profit organisation, LHP reinvests its profits into services and initiatives that directly benefit its customers and local neighbourhoods. LHP's vision of building great homes and fostering strong communities is embodied in its recently launched 2022-2027 Corporate Strategy, "Building Better Communities Together". This strategy, born out of extensive employee consultations and feedback sessions, lays out LHP's strategic priorities for the coming years.
Promoting employee engagement is central to LHP's ethos. The organisation hosts annual company conferences and regular team meetups to foster a sense of unity and shared purpose. The "LHP Way" and the new People & Culture Framework further reinforce the company's values, principles, and expected staff behaviours. The LHP Wellbeing Group plays a critical role in promoting and monitoring employee wellbeing, focusing on different aspects of wellbeing each quarter. This includes mental, physical, social, and financial wellbeing.
LHP continually introduces initiatives to support the physical and financial wellbeing of its employees. These include a Cycle to Work scheme, step challenges, discounted gym memberships, and financial education webinars in partnership with the Centre for Financial Education. In addition, regular team meetings, community events, and toolbox talks for trade-focused teams provide structure, support, and a platform for employees to stay updated and share experiences. The company's commitment to employee engagement and wellbeing is clear in its actions and initiatives, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
People in my team go out of their way to help me

Teams also have quarterly get-togethers and wellbeing events are hosted by the wellbeing team. LHP also arrange community events such as canal rubbish cleaning.
I believe I can make a valuable contribution to the success of this organisation
The organisation uses SharePoint as a source of news for everyone in the company. It hosts an annual company conference to allow everyone to get together, alongside smaller team and directorate meet ups. Everything is reinforced by the “LHP way” and its new People & Culture Framework which details the behaviours expected from staff.
I feel that my manager talks openly and honestly with me
All managers at LHP attend a four-day programme which teaches them some basic managerial skills, with topics including: what is good leadership, effective communication, performance management, managing a team, my impact on the organisation, delegation, motivation and morale, decision making, analysing what is going well, and action planning. Managers can also study numerous other modules.
