International Students House (ISH) provide accommodation, social and support services for British and overseas students in London. Through its values of respect, trust and integrity, support, progression and quality, ISH look to provide an affordable home-from-home for international and UK students. They are supported by a substantial bursary programme to give opportunities to more disadvantaged students. ISH also place great emphasis on being a positive place to work for all employees, putting mental health and wellbeing at the forefront of its internal strategy. In addition, the organisation regularly rewards those who go above and beyond their duties. Chief Executive Martin Chalker engages with staff on a daily basis and is dedicated to keeping channels of communication open at all times. With new projects, he involves representatives from all areas of the organisation in order to promote collaboration and ensure the right decisions are made.
