Founded by CEO Jamie Fraser in 2016, InterEx Group is a recruitment agency that offers staffing and consultancy solutions, specialising in Microsoft and Cloud staffing.
The organisation is proud of its staff retention rate of 75% - way above the national average for its sector – and it believes that this is no accident but rather a sign of how well it looks after its employees’ mental and physical health, and the range of benefits that it offers.
It does this first and foremost by ensuring that its office is a motivational and exciting place to be. It provides self-improvement loans to employees who want to invest in their wellbeing or personal development. For example, it has paid for blocks of PT sessions and life coaching.
It also provides opportunities for people to take part in exercises or mental health initiatives. For example, it has provided yoga classes, breath-work sessions, mindset focused sessions with external speakers and also provides fitness funds and extended lunches so that people can access subsidised gym memberships or subscriptions and make time in their day to use them.
This year, InterEx Group introduced paid menstrual leave and paid mental health days because it recognises and appreciates that there are certain times people need to prioritise their wellbeing and take some time out.
Recently, 10 staff worked with a mindset and well-being coach, to help them develop both personally and professionally. The team was coached in everything from nutritional guidance to positive mindset training.

CEO Jamie and the leadership team regularly send out updates to the business outlining any changes. Additionally, every month in its Global Review meeting, there is a section called 'ask the CEO'. Employees can anonymously submit questions and have those answered and addressed in the meeting providing clarity for everyone.
I am paid fairly for the work I do relative to people in similar positions in similar organisations

The experience I gain from this job is valuable for my future
Its own development program, ‘InterExcellence’, consists of 4 learning pathways. Engage ensures a smooth onboarding process. Enhance focuses on refining the initial skills needed to succeed. Excel is designed to equip those going through their first steps in mentoring. Elevate is a management development program, focusing on supporting managers to help the next generation.
