Extra time off was given to the monthly winners at the Contact Centre of InsureandGo's new reward and recognition scheme. The Southend-on-Sea-based travel insurer was acquired by AllClear Travel Insurance and policies and strategies are being reworked.
Employees are having a say in creating company values that best represent the team and the business today. Focus groups will share and discuss ideas and then, as a team, the company will decide on the new values, which it believes will help to ensure that staff are all working towards the same goal.
A newly implemented engagement strategy allows InsureandGo to gather and manage feedback across the company.
Staff benefits include membership of the Health Cash Plan, which allows staff to claim back the full cost of everyday health treatments, such as dentistry and physiotherapy. The scheme also provides an employee assistance programme that offers access to 24-hour counselling helpline, as well as face-to-face sessions with a counsellor.
InsureandGo was founded in 2000 in Braintree, Essex. In November 2005, it claimed to be one of the first companies to remove the terrorism exclusion clause from its policies and led the field in the travel insurance market. Thanks to its expansion, the business relocated to new offices in Southend-on-Sea in 2006, bringing new jobs to the area.
