While some companies have been downsizing their offices, recruitment specialist Eton Bridge Partners has doubled the size of its Windsor headquarters — and even given staff a view of the castle.
The executive search and interim management specialist, which employs nearly 90 people, invested in two new offices this year, the other is in London, giving it sustainable places to work and improve interaction and communication.
Staff asked for quiet spaces for holding meetings, client or candidate calls, and video booths have been provided. The Windsor office has a great new look and feel, and offers break-out areas, a wellbeing room and extra meeting rooms. The outdoor socialising space overlooks Windsor Castle.
This year has seen another change. Eton Bridge introduced a trial nine-day fortnight, so that staff could benefit from an extra day off every other week and work smarter. The company also offers four half-days each year for employees to spend time with family and friends, or have a self-care day.
It says its purpose is to build great teams that drive business performance. Respect, care and collaboration are at the heart of everything it does and its people-first culture prioritises the building of long-term personal relationships with colleagues, clients, and candidates.
All this, along with the creation of employee-led wellbeing, inclusion and diversity, and charity-focused employee groups, is part of its drive for excellence and its mission to create a place to work that sets Eton Bridge apart.
