The Durham Tees Valley CRC works with adults (18 years and over) who have either been given a community sentence by the courts or have been released from prison. To enable participants to complete the sentence set by the courts, their colleagues and volunteers work with them in a variety of ways dealing with the causes of their offending behaviour and addressing their attitudes and patterns of behaviour to encourage reintegration into local communities and reducing re-offending. The organisation is built on a number of core principles to which every employee working with them adheres to every day, these are: Belief; Trust; Respect; Teamwork; Flexibility; and Inclusive. By everyone in the organisation working towards these core principles, their vision of 'Participating in a Positive Future' is truly a reality.
