Coloplast develops products and services that make life easier for people with very personal and private medical conditions. Working closely with the people who use their products, they create solutions that are sensitive to their individual needs. To reward employees for their continued efforts in helping customers, the organisation run 'platinum awards'. These awards celebrate the hard work, exceptional effort and dedication of employees across the business who have outperformed their targets. These individual winners receive holiday vouchers worth £5000, plus five days extra holiday. The runner up receives holiday vouchers worth £2000, plus two days extra holiday. All other nominees for the award receive £250 of John Lewis vouchers. Coloplast is a growing company which does mean increased production. Each time they develop new products or improve existing products, they try where possible to consider green technologies and materials. They are committed to reducing plastic waste and at their own sites are working to reach the target of recycling 35% of production waste by 2020. The company provide an Employee Assistance Programme which is available to all employees, 24hrs per day, seven days a week.
