Heartfelt messages from Clarion's joint managing partner Roger Hutton inspired trust in the commercial law firm's leadership over the past 18 months. His unscripted Friday-night emails exposed his own vulnerability and resonated with staff at a difficult time. Hutton's words reflected the culture of authenticity that is embodied in the firm.
It was created in 2007, when a management buyout of a successful Leeds law firm took place. Clarion works with a range of businesses, from start-ups to FTSE 100 companies. The firm places importance on a joined-up team approach and its success rely on creating strong partnerships that generate energy and deliver results.
In The Lawyer magazine's UK 200 report of 2020, it was listed as one of the top five fastest-growing law firms in the UK.
Its 280-strong staff includes 30 partners and the firm has ambitious plans for future growth.
