Established in 1992, Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dementia. With more than £237 million invested in over 1,275 research projects, ARUK is a leading voice in dementia research.

The organisation’s achievements extend beyond research. It has implemented StrengthsFinder, a tool that evaluates employees' strengths and preferences to improve team interaction and communication. It has also introduced "Building a Team Brand and Shared Mission", an initiative that fosters team unity and consistency across Alzheimer’s Research UK.

The Senior Leadership Team ensures organisational clarity and keeps employees informed via various mechanisms, such as a monthly CEO newsletter, all-employee meetings, and informal teams meetings. The Employee Voice forum represents employees across the charity, consulting with management and providing a platform for dialogue.

The organisation’s Performance Appraisal Process encourages individual and organisational performance, recognising and rewarding individual contributions. Alzheimer’s Research UK's "Personal Growth" initiative is designed to enable employees to develop their skills and knowledge, add value and drive organisational success.
