ACT Training is a pioneering training organisation based in Wales, dedicated to improving lives through learning. Established in 1988 by Andrew Cooksley, a man with a mission to deliver world-class training, ACT Training has grown from a small company with 13 employees to Wales' leading training provider. Today, ACT Training has over 300 employees, an annual income of approximately £30m, and delivers a diverse range of training programs to over 7,000 individuals a year.

At ACT Training, the happiness and engagement of staff is paramount. The organisation has a full-time Staff Wellbeing & Engagement Officer and a comprehensive Staff Wellbeing Strategy. Initiatives include Staff Health Week, funded counselling sessions, healthcare plans, dedicated weekly wellbeing time, and a variety of activities and competitions to encourage mindfulness and connectivity.

ACT Training is committed to recognising and rewarding its team members through staff recognition awards and "Shout-Outs", helping to create a positive and supportive working environment.

ACT Training also provides numerous opportunities for staff development and progression. With the introduction of the new ‘People’ platform, staff can easily access a myriad of training and continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities. ACT Training also offers the Chris Hughes Management Academy, an in-house ILM-accredited programme, and other formal qualifications to help managers excel in their roles.

In addition to its focus on staff wellbeing and development, ACT Training takes pride in its charity initiatives. The organisation hosts numerous charity events throughout the year, supporting a range of charities close to the hearts of its employees.
