The Law Officers’ Department is the cornerstone of legal advice in Jersey, proudly serving the Government of Jersey, the States of Jersey Assembly, and the Crown. Established centuries ago, the department is led by His Majesty's Attorney General and His Majesty's Solicitor General, supported by a dedicated team of over 80 staff. The organisation is headquartered in Morier House, St Helier, Jersey, a stone's throw from the Island’s Royal Court and States Assembly buildings.
