Scott Bader is a unique, employee-owned entity that stands as a global manufacturer of advanced composites, structural adhesives, and functional polymers. It is an organisation rooted in a rich history, having been established in 1921, and has since grown to employ more than 800 individuals across 20 worldwide locations. Its commitment to innovation, quality and technical expertise is unwavering, evidenced by its expansion into markets such as North America, India, Japan, and Australia.

A key differentiator is Scott Bader's principle of maintaining equilibrium between its social purpose and business needs. It became the first UK company to hold a Common Ownership Certificate in 1951, as the Bader family transferred their shares to Scott Bader Commonwealth Ltd. This essentially means that Scott Bader colleagues are the owners and are responsible for the company's success and overall wellbeing.
