The company's SC+ system allows patients to avoid the usual trips to hospital dialysis units three times a week.
Quanta’s innovative device cuts costs for the NHS and gives patients more freedom by letting them choose where and when they dialyse.
Quanta Dialysis Technologies expanded its workforce during the year, and now has 129 staff in the UK and America. The UK team is based in Alcester, Warwickshire.
Hiring via staff referrals has more than doubled, partly thanks to the creation of a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel.
A number of group forums were also set up on Microsoft Teams so that employees could get together virtually, including a weekly virtual lunchbreak. This gave people the opportunity to interact with others and talk about non-work related topics.
New recruits will join a company committed to caring; last year it donated to Kidney Research UK and the US charity Home Dialyzors United. It also made visor holders for community initiatives using a 3D printer and volunteered some of its engineers' time.
Quanta has hosted events such as summer barbecues for staff. To mark a company milestone last year, it sent them all a bottle of champagne, chocolates, a commemorative mug, and a personal thank you from the CEO.

During the last year, it has run collections for the local children’s ward – including an Easter egg hunt. Employees held a number of bake-off events in the office as well as taking part in the dragon boat race for its local hospice.
