Founded in 1986, Charles Tyrwhitt, still owned by founder Nicholas Charles Tyrwhitt Wheeler, is a menswear retailer based in the UK, US, and France, with the purpose of "Making it easy to dress well".

Always looking to drive responsible innovation, the company takes its environmental operations seriously, with recent initiatives including measuring and reducing their carbon emissions through a partnership with Planet Mark, reducing packaging, making its sales brochure fully recyclable, incorporating recycled fibres into its range, and encouraging the reuse of its products instead of disposal.
To further reinforce this philosophy, customers are offered £5 off a new shirt if they return an old shirt for recycling or for a charitable donation.

It has also incorporated a "Plastic action group" who have reduced the amount of plastic used in its packaging.

To raise colleagues self-awareness it has taken the entire workforce through their individual "Insights" profiles, which will support their working relationships with each other.
